Why we went back for round two

Hey hikers!

Have you ever heard of Reflection Canyon in Utah? If not, you're in for a treat! This is a trek that's definitely worth adding to your bucket list. You may remember my adventures in Escalante, Utah from this part 1 of a 2 part series. My friend Erin and I went to Escalante last year in the hopes of conquering Reflection Canyon and Golden Cathedral. Well we got a little lost on the way to Reflection since the trail is poorly marked once you break from the main dirt trail and ended up hiking several miles out of our way. We wanted to have a second shot at this hike, especially since the water levels rose at Powell and a second opportunity to see this amazing area. We also realized after last year, we should have scrambled on to some rocks on the left from where this viewpoint was to have “the shot.”
