Every year I strive to put together a gift guide that not only supports small businesses or organizations, but also has items any adventure seeker would love and hopefully use for years to come. So without further ado:
For the camper or van lifer:
Joyful Flags: https://www.etsy.com/shop/joyfulflagsdecor/?etsrc=sdt
I met the owner of this business through social media and fell in love with her story and brand. What I love most about these flags is that they have little clips on the side so you can easily put them up and take them down. My Mother in-law has dementia and had to be moved to an assisted living and these flags were perfect for her room to add color without adding holes into the wall. She created a custom designed flag for her which she loved. She also makes earrings from the fabric which I always get compliments on when I wear out! Perfect for baby rooms, living rooms, camper vans or anywhere you want to add a pop f color without creating permanent damage.
For the person who’s always cold:
A Selk bag:

I really want to try their new version where you can unzip the top from the bottom so you can wear them separately. This wearable sleeping bag is perfect for camping because you won’t be cold and you can sleep in it! I always wear it in the winter to walk my dogs and it comes with detachable booties. I’ve even taken this backpacking instead of a sleeping bag. If you know someone who’s always camping or complaining of the cold they will be very surprised to get this gift!
For the outdoorsy fashionista:

My dad actually found this company and bought us these beanies in men and women’s versions as well as a few shirts. When I wear this beanie I always get a chuckle and compliments because, let’s be honest, there’s nothing else quite like it.
For the lover of woodland creatures: https://www.instagram.com/fabledfibres?igsh=YmJqczM0ZzIxbDUx
My niece started crocheting these adorable creatures putting her own spin on classic woodland creatures. My daughter wanted a hedgehog so she designed and came up with this which my daughter loved. These would mage a great gift for anyone esp kids who are a little out of the stuffy phase but still want something cute to adorn their room.
For the candle lover:
https://moonspiritalchemy.com
I met this small business owner through our shared love of Stevie Nicks. She sent me a candle and it was one of my favorites I’ve ever had. We are in talks to come up with my own personal candle based on my scent profile I love and I’m beyond excited for that. Pair one of these with some crystals or bath salts for a friend and they’ve got a witchy spa night ahead.
As always I recommend a National Parks pass, photo albums of places you’ve traveled together or an experience like concert tickets, entry to a marathon or a massage gift card to unwind from all the hiking! Most yoga studios also have gift cards so if you know someone who’s been wanting to check out a yoga class, that and a mat would make a nice gift!
I will share more to come, but wanted to give you some ideas for those hard to shop for nature lovers on your list!
Thank you for being a loyal subscriber! None of the products featured are paying me to feature them, they’re just all businesses I love and they feel worthy of supporting because of how amazing the owners are! Have a safe and healthy holiday season.
