Hello subscribers! Thank you so much for following along on all my adventures and being so loyal. This month has absolutely flown by and I intend to get more writing home now that I’m home from Greece! I recently hosted a yoga adventure retreat there and I wanted to provide the itinerary that we used that worked amazing for our group. This might help or inspire you to plan your own adventure in Greece or another country.

First, I will say that I highly recommend if you’re visiting Crete, to fly into Athens and then transfer. I had it in my head that I would go through Geneva, because I wanted to enjoy a layover in Switzerland. While the views flying in and out of the country were stunning, I almost missed my connection to Heraklion. Had I missed that connection I would have had to find a flight to Athens and then to Heraklion. As it was, I had already flown from Grand Junction to Newark then Newark to Geneva. There’s almost a flight every hour from Athens to Heraklion, so I recommend flying in and out of Athens. As a bonus, you can explore the city and book a walking tour if you want to extend your trip.
